Advertising disclosure

How affiliate links fund the site, how they are marked, and why commission never changes a score or a ranking.

All British Casinos is funded by affiliate links. When you follow a link to an operator and open an account, the operator may pay us a commission. You do not pay anything extra, and the commission never changes an operator's score or its place in a ranking.

Buttons to operators, such as "Visit" buttons in tables and on review pages, go through a short redirect on this site before reaching the operator. That redirect lets the operator recognise that you came from us. These links are marked as sponsored for search engines, and the buttons carry a short note that the link may earn a commission. Ordinary links between pages on the site are not affiliate links.

Commission arrangements differ by operator. They may be a fixed payment when a new customer makes a first deposit, a share of the operator's revenue from that customer, or a mix of the two.

What commission does not affect

  • Scores. Each score is the weighted average of six criteria built from public documents, as set out in how we rate casinos. There is no criterion for commercial terms.
  • Ranking order. Tables are ordered by score. An operator cannot pay to move up.
  • Inclusion. Licensed operators without a commercial arrangement are scored and listed in the same way as those with one.
  • What we write. Operators do not see or approve pages before publication, and unfavourable terms are reported as they are written.

Why unlicensed operators never appear

We link only to operators holding an active remote licence from the Gambling Commission. Commission is never a reason to list an unlicensed site, and offers are shown with their significant terms beside them, as advertising rules require.

Advertising rules we follow

Affiliate content is advertising for the purposes of the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising (the CAP Code), which the Advertising Standards Authority enforces. In practice that means offers carry their significant conditions next to them, nothing is called free unless no money of your own is at risk, there is no urgency or pressure, and nothing is aimed at or likely to appeal to under-18s. Responsible gambling pages carry no offers or operator links.
