Crazy Time and other live game shows: how they work in 2026
Crazy Time, Monopoly Live and other money-wheel shows explained: what is on the wheel, how the bonus games work and what the odds mean.

Crazy Time is a live casino game show from Evolution built around a large money wheel: you bet on where the wheel will stop, either on a number that pays at fixed odds or on one of four bonus games where multipliers decide the prize. It is the best-known of a wider group of live game shows, alongside Monopoly Live, Mega Wheel, Money Time and Sweet Bonanza CandyLand, all streamed from studios with a presenter and offered at GB casinos under a Gambling Commission remote casino licence.
This guide explains how Crazy Time works, how it compares with Monopoly Live and other shows, what the odds mean and how the GB rules apply.

The Crazy Time wheel
The wheel has 54 segments. Most carry numbers; the rest trigger bonus games.
| Segment | Number on the wheel | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 21 | Pays 1 to 1 |
| 2 | 13 | Pays 2 to 1 |
| 5 | 7 | Pays 5 to 1 |
| 10 | 4 | Pays 10 to 1 |
| Coin Flip | 4 | A coin decides between two multipliers |
| Cash Hunt | 2 | Each player picks a hidden multiplier from a large board |
| Pachinko | 2 | A puck drops down a peg wall onto a multiplier |
| Crazy Time | 1 | A second, larger wheel with high multipliers |
Before every spin a separate "Top Slot" reel lands a random multiplier on one segment. If the main wheel stops there, that segment's payout or bonus is boosted. You only take part in a bonus game if you bet on that bonus before the spin.
Odds and returns: what the numbers tell you
The segment count lets you work out how often each result comes up: the 1 lands on 21 of 54 segments, so a bit under 40% of spins, while Crazy Time itself is one segment in 54. Each bet has its own published return in the game's help screen, and those figures differ by bet, so the choice of spot matters more than in a classic wheel game. Bonus games produce the big headlines but appear rarely, and much of the value in them comes from rare high multipliers.
Sites that publish Crazy Time history or a "live score" are showing past results. They are useful as a record of what happened, but each spin is independent and nothing in the history makes a bonus "due".
Monopoly Live and other game shows
Monopoly Live, also from Evolution, uses a similar money wheel with number segments, Chance segments and "2 Rolls" and "4 Rolls" segments that send a 3D Mr Monopoly around the board in a bonus round, collecting prizes and multipliers. It has the same structure as Crazy Time: fixed odds on numbers, multipliers in the bonus.
Other shows listed in GB live lobbies include:
- Mega Wheel and Money Time (Pragmatic Play Live) - wheel-based shows with random multipliers.
- Sweet Bonanza CandyLand (Pragmatic Play Live) - a wheel show based on the slot; our Sweet Bonanza slot review covers the original game.
- Boom City (Pragmatic Play Live) and Megaball (Evolution) - dice and bingo-style formats.
- Lightning Roulette - roulette with random multipliers; see our online roulette guide for how it changes the standard payouts.
Where live game shows are offered
Hollywoodbets' casino pages name Crazy Time and Megaball from Evolution and Boom City and Sweet Bonanza from Pragmatic Play, and its live lobby lists Mega Wheel and Money Time. LuckyMate's lobby shows a Game Shows section with Crazy Time, Sweet Bonanza CandyLand, Money Time and Mega Wheel. Pub Casino describes Crazy Time as available in its live casino. Bella Casino, Virgin Bet and Lottomart also have game-show sections. For a full comparison of live lobbies, see our live dealer casinos page.
To play Crazy Time for money you need an account with a casino licensed by the Gambling Commission; the show runs in the browser or inside the casino's own app.
GB rules that apply to game shows
- Stake limits. The £5 and £2 caps apply only to online slots; game-show limits are shown on each table.
- Design rules. Since 17 January 2025 all online casino products have had autoplay and turbo features banned, celebrations of returns at or below the stake banned and a real-time display of net spend and time.
- Bonus play. Live casino often counts at a reduced rate, or not at all, towards wagering. Wagering on bonus funds is capped at 10x from 19 January 2026, and contribution rules sit in each offer's terms.
- Presenters and marketing. Live shows are designed to be entertaining; under GB advertising rules they must not be marketed in a way that appeals strongly to under-18s.
18+ only. Game shows run continuously, which makes it easy to keep betting round after round. Set a budget and a time limit first; our responsible gambling page explains the tools and free support available.

Questions readers ask
How does Crazy Time work?
You bet on where a 54-segment money wheel will stop: on numbers 1, 2, 5 or 10, or on one of four bonus games. A Top Slot reel adds a random multiplier to one segment before each spin.
How often does the Crazy Time bonus come up?
The Crazy Time segment is one of 54 on the wheel, so on average it lands about once in 54 spins. Each spin is independent, so it is never due.
Who makes Crazy Time and Monopoly Live?
Both are Evolution live game shows. Mega Wheel, Money Time and Sweet Bonanza CandyLand come from Pragmatic Play Live.
Is there a maximum bet on Crazy Time in the UK?
The £5 and £2 stake limits apply only to online slots. Game-show stake ranges are set per table and shown in the lobby.
Does Crazy Time history help predict results?
No. History and live-score trackers record past spins. Every spin is independent and decided by the wheel.
