Nightluck review: no GB licence and no settled licence

Nightluck has no Gambling Commission licence, and third-party reviews disagree on which offshore licence it holds.

Our verdict

No GB licence

Nightluck has no Gambling Commission licence and third parties disagree on its offshore licence, so it is not a lawful option for GB players.

Worth knowing

  • No Gambling Commission licence
  • Conflicting reports on its offshore licence
  • Not linked to GAMSTOP
  • No approved ADR provider

Nightluck is not licensed to offer gambling in Great Britain: the Gambling Commission register shows no account, trading name or domain for it. Third-party reviews describe Nightluck casino as licensed offshore, but they disagree on where, citing either Curacao or Anjouan.

Two licences reported, none confirmed

When reviews cannot agree on a casino's licence, the reader has no fixed point to check. A GB licensee removes that doubt by printing its Commission account number on the site, which anyone can search on the public register. Nightluck has no such number, and the register files of 2 November 2026 hold nothing for Nightluck or its domain.

A regional block is not a GB licence

The Nightluck site shows a message that it is not available in some regions. Geo-blocking can be a sign that an operator is trying to keep certain countries out, but it is not a licence, and the Commission notes that geo-IP blocking is easily undermined. Under the Gambling Act 2005, an operator whose site is used in Great Britain, and who knows or should know that, needs a Commission licence. Nightluck has none.

Nightluck review: rights a GB player would not have

Gambling Commission protections apply only where the business holds a Commission licence. At an unlicensed site there would be:

  • no duty to verify age and identity under UK rules before play;
  • no GAMSTOP link, so a national self-exclusion would not apply;
  • no £5 per-spin slot limit and no 10x cap on bonus wagering;
  • no ban on gambling with credit cards;
  • no approved ADR provider, and no Commission to raise the operator with.

The Commission also reports that unlicensed sites may block payouts or set withdrawal limits that cannot be reached. For these reasons a Nightluck promo code or bonus is not covered here.

How to verify any casino before you register

  1. Find the licence statement and account number on the site.
  2. Search the number on the Gambling Commission public register.
  3. Check that the status is Active and that Casino is listed.
  4. Make sure the site's domain appears on the record, and look for regulatory action.

Questions readers ask

What licence does Nightluck hold?

Third-party reviews cite either a Curacao or an Anjouan licence. It has no Gambling Commission licence.

Why does Nightluck say it is not available in my region?

The site blocks some regions. A block is the operator's choice and does not make it licensed anywhere in particular.

Is Nightluck safe for players in Great Britain?

Without a Commission licence, none of the GB protections apply, including GAMSTOP, stake limits and ADR.
