Casino and betting, both outside the British regime

A sportsbook needs its own licensed betting activity in Great Britain, just as a casino does. Licensed operators are also barred, since 19 January 2026, from offers that require play across different products such as betting plus casino. An unlicensed site that mixes both is under none of these rules, and the Commission notes that such sites often lack age checks, safer gambling tools and secure payments.
