Spinando review: licence position for GB players

Spinando is owned by Hollycorn N.V. and shows a Curacao licence. The Gambling Commission register has no entry for it.

Our verdict

No GB licence

Spinando shows a Curacao licence held by Hollycorn N.V. and has no Gambling Commission licence, so it cannot lawfully serve players in Great Britain.

Worth knowing

  • No entry on the Gambling Commission register
  • Outside GAMSTOP
  • No UK wagering cap or slot stake limit
  • No approved ADR provider

Is Spinando legit for someone in Great Britain? Not in the legal sense: the casino has no Gambling Commission licence and is not part of GAMSTOP. It is owned by Hollycorn N.V. and shows Curacao Gaming Control Board licence OGL/2023/176/0095, the same licence used by Slotornado. This Spinando review looks only at that licence position.

Its terms carry a long list of restricted countries and require identity checks before withdrawals.

What changes when a casino has no UK licence

Section 36 of the Gambling Act 2005 sets a point of consumption rule: a site used by people in Great Britain needs a Commission licence wherever it is based. Without one, the offer is unlawful and the rules a player relies on fall away.

Take identity checks. A check before withdrawal is not the same as the UK rule, in force since 7 May 2019, that licensees verify age and identity before any deposit or play. A dispute over a payout has no approved ADR route, and an unlicensed operator is not bound by the 10x wagering cap that applies to GB bonuses from 19 January 2026 or by the £5 slot stake limit.

Reading the register yourself in four steps

  1. Find the account number and licence holder in the site footer or terms.
  2. Search that number, the brand name or the domain on the Commission's public register.
  3. Check that the status is Active and that Casino is among the licensed activities.
  4. Confirm the domain you are on is listed for that business, and look for any regulatory action.

Self-exclusion and support

GAMSTOP is free and covers every online operator licensed in Great Britain, but it cannot reach Spinando. Our page on national self-exclusion explains the periods and how removal works, and the responsible gambling page lists tools and helplines. Gambling is for over-18s only.

Questions readers ask

Is Spinando linked to Slotornado?

Yes. Both are run by Hollycorn N.V. under the same Curacao licence, OGL/2023/176/0095. Neither holds a Gambling Commission licence.

Does Spinando have free spins or a no deposit bonus for UK players?

Its promotions are not set out here. A GB licensee must show the significant terms next to any offer and keep wagering at no more than 10 times the bonus; Spinando is bound by neither rule.

How do Spinando withdrawals work?

Its terms require identity checks before a withdrawal. Beyond that, payout terms at an unlicensed site cannot be enforced through any UK scheme, and the Commission warns such sites may block payouts.

Is Spinando legal in the UK?

No. Offering gambling to people in Great Britain without a Gambling Commission licence is an offence under the Gambling Act 2005.
