Our verdict
Score: 5.7 out of 10, fairTangoBet is licensed through ProgressPlay Limited, account 39335, after its former licence holder surrendered its licence in October 2026; offer and payment terms sit with the new operator.
In its favour
- Domain listed under an active Gambling Commission remote licence, account 39335
- Licence covers casino, bingo and real-event betting
- Run on the ProgressPlay white label platform
Worth knowing
- Operator changed in October 2026 after AG Communications surrendered its licence
- Offer and terms have to be checked in the new operator's pages
- Shares one licence account with many white label brands
TangoBet changed hands on the Gambling Commission register this autumn. The domain tangobet.co.uk used to sit under AG Communications Limited, account 39483, whose licence was surrendered on 23 October 2026. It is now listed as a White Label domain under ProgressPlay Limited, account 39335, and that licence is active for remote casino, bingo and real-event betting. So the short answer to this TangoBet review is that the brand is licensed, but by a different company than before.
What changed in October 2026
When a licence is surrendered, the holder can no longer offer gambling under it. A brand can carry on only if another licensee takes it over, which is what the register now shows for TangoBet. In practice this means:
- the business you deal with in law is now ProgressPlay Limited, so the site footer should show account 39335;
- the terms and conditions, privacy notice and complaints route are those of the new licence holder;
- a complaint about anything that happened after the move goes to ProgressPlay first, then to its approved ADR provider if it is not settled within eight weeks.
If you held a TangoBet account before the change, read any notice the site gives about the new operator, and check your account terms again rather than assuming they carried over. To see the record yourself, search the domain on the register; our guide to checking a casino licence explains how.
TangoBet on the register today
Is TangoBet legit now? On the register, yes. Account 39335 is active and covers Casino, Bingo and General Betting Standard for real events, and tangobet.co.uk is listed on it. Being on a GB licence brings the usual duties: age and identity checks before you can deposit or play, GAMSTOP participation and no credit card gambling.
The ProgressPlay white label set-up
A White Label domain is a brand run on someone else's licence and platform. ProgressPlay carries many such brands, and the licence holder is responsible to the Commission for each of them. The licence holder answers to the Commission for every brand at once, and brands on the platform tend to look and work alike, with rules set at account level. The TangoBet casino lobby, payment options and withdrawal times are set by the operator and shown in its cashier and terms.
TangoBet bonus and promo codes
Any TangoBet bonus, promo code, free spins or no deposit bonus is set out in the operator's current promotion terms, which may have changed with the new licence holder. The 10x wagering cap and the ban on offers that mix casino play with sports bets apply to it as to any GB brand. Our guide to the 2026 bonus rules sets out what changed.
TangoBet sister sites on account 39335
Since the move, TangoBet shares its licence holder with brands such as Placebet, SupaBet, SaviBet and Betarno, along with 21Bets Casino and Glimmer Casino. The Placebet review covers another brand on the same account. Brands on one account may share a self-exclusion scope and a complaints procedure; our sister sites hub explains the detail.
Keeping it safe
TangoBet accounts are for adults aged 18 and over. A GAMSTOP exclusion covers every online GB licensee, so a change of operator does not undo it, and our responsible gambling page lists free support, including the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133.
