Bingo bonuses in 2026: welcome offers and their terms

How bingo bonuses work after the January 2026 rule changes: bonus types, wagering, bonus tickets and prize pools, promo codes and the terms that matter.

A bingo bonus is extra value for bingo tickets - bonus funds, bonus tickets or cheaper entry - given for joining, depositing or playing regularly. Since 19 January 2026 Gambling Commission rules cap wagering on bonus funds at 10x and ban single offers that cover more than one product type, so a bingo welcome bonus can now cover bingo only, and any offer for slots or instant games has to be a separate incentive.

18+ only. This page explains the main bingo bonus types, what the 2026 rules changed, the terms that decide what a bonus is worth, and the current offers at bingo sites with verified details.

"Bingo promotions no deposit" is a common search, but genuine no-deposit offers are rare and small. The free bingo page explains how to tell free rooms from deposit-gated ones.

What the 2026 rules changed for bingo offers

  • 10x wagering cap. Licensees must not require a customer to play through bonus funds more than 10 times.
  • One product per offer. An incentive must not cover more than one product type, with betting, casino, bingo and lottery listed separately. A "deposit £10, get bingo tickets and slot spins" bundle is no longer allowed as a single offer.
  • Clear terms. Terms must be clear, fair, easy to find and easy to read.
  • No reward for rushing. The value of an offer must not increase because you reach the qualifying spend faster.

The mixed-product ban explains why many bingo brands now advertise a "games bonus" for instant games next to, or instead of, a bingo offer. Our guide to UK bonus rules in 2026 covers the changes across all products.

Significant terms on a bingo bonus

  • Minimum deposit and any excluded payment methods.
  • Wagering: how many times, and on what - the bonus only, or something else.
  • Rooms and ticket prices the bonus can be used on.
  • Prize pools. tombola's terms say bonus funds used for tickets do not contribute to the game prize pool, and a player alone in a game with bonus funds may have no game prize to win.
  • Order of play. tombola states that real funds are always staked before bonus funds.
  • Withdrawals. Withdrawing while a bonus is active often forfeits it; tombola's terms say exactly that.
  • Caps and expiry: the most you can win or convert from bonus play, and how long you have.

Current welcome offers at bingo sites

None of the bingo operators with verified details shows a welcome offer for bingo tickets in its current terms. Their welcome offers are for slots or instant games, which the mixed-product rule keeps separate from bingo. The table shows each offer with its significant terms; brands without a published offer show none.

Bingo promo codes

Some offers need a promo code entered at registration or deposit; where one is needed, it appears in the offer's significant terms. Codes do not change the rules: a coded offer is still capped at 10x wagering and still covers one product. Codes for existing customers are usually sent by email or SMS, and since 1 May 2025 operators need your opt-in for each product and each channel before sending marketing. Codes from unofficial sources may be expired or belong to a different offer, so check the operator's own promotions page. The promo codes page explains more.

Working out what a bingo bonus is worth

Take a simple example: a £10 deposit brings £10 of bingo bonus funds with 4x wagering on the bonus. You would need to buy £40 of tickets with bonus funds before any bonus winnings become withdrawable. Bingo rooms keep a share of ticket sales, so on average every ticket returns less than it costs, and the more wagering an offer asks for, the more of the bonus is used up on the way. Low wagering, no win cap and a reasonable expiry make a bonus worth more than a large headline figure.

Bonuses encourage pre-buying and longer sessions. Set a deposit limit when you register, which every GB-licensed site must prompt you to do. Our responsible gambling page explains limits, GAMSTOP and the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133.

Questions readers ask

What is the maximum wagering on a bingo bonus?

Since 19 January 2026 GB rules cap wagering on bonus funds at 10x. Each offer's terms say what the wagering applies to.

Can a bingo bonus include slot spins?

Not in a single offer. One incentive may cover only one product type, and bingo and casino are separate, so a bingo bonus and a slots offer must be separate.

Do bonus tickets win the same prizes as paid tickets?

They can win prizes, but terms differ. tombola's terms, for example, say bonus-funded tickets do not add to the game prize pool.

Are there no-deposit bingo bonuses?

Occasionally, but they are small and capped. None of the bingo operators with verified details shows one in its current terms.

Do I need a promo code for a bingo bonus?

Only if the offer's terms say so. Some offers need a code at deposit; others apply automatically once you opt in.
