Fish money and the Fisherman wild
During free spins, fish symbols carry cash values, but they only pay when a Fisherman wild lands on the same spin and collects every value on screen. Collected wilds also count towards extra spins and a higher multiplier on the collected values, rising as far as 10x. A round full of fish but short of wilds can therefore pay little, while a late run of wilds can lift the total sharply.
Modifiers before the round
Before free spins begin, up to five modifiers can apply: more fish money symbols, more Fisherman wilds, extra spins, a 2x multiplier or easier triggers for the other features. In the base game, random features can also appear to help land the trigger. None of this changes the long-run return; it changes how the round is shaped.
