The 2019 Relax Gaming slot that started the Money Train series: 40 lines and a bonus round of 3 starting spins driven by special symbols.
Before Money Train 2 and its successors, there was the 2019 original. The Money Train slot from Relax Gaming was released on 7 August 2019 and runs on five reels and four rows with 40 fixed paylines. It is rated high volatility, with a listed RTP of 96.2% and a top win of 20,000x the stake, and almost all of its character lives in a bonus round where special symbols collect and pay out values across the reels.

The game that started the series
The Money Train name now covers a family of games: Money Train 2, Money Train 3, 4 and 5, Money Train Origins and Slingo Money Train. Each is a separate title with its own maths. This page covers only the first. If a lobby lists several, the release year and the number on the tile are the quickest way to tell them apart.
40 lines in the base game
The base game is a fixed 40-line slot with no line selection. It plays a supporting role: its main job is to land the bonus symbols that open the feature. That is typical of high-volatility designs, where much of the long-run return is concentrated in a feature that does not arrive often. Expect stretches where the base game returns little.
Money Train bonus round and its special symbols
The bonus is triggered by bonus symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5. They reveal values and start the round with 3 bonus spins. From there, the round is shaped by four special symbols: the Collector, the Payer, the Persistent Collector and the Persistent Payer. The game's help screen describes what each one does; how they combine on a given round is what produces the wide range of outcomes, from modest totals to the rare top result.
Buy Feature, RTP and what to check
Money Train includes an in-game Buy Feature. Whether a casino's version shows it, and at what cost, is visible in the game itself, so check there rather than assuming it is offered.
The 96.2% figure comes from game databases; the Relax page does not state it and lists a German RTP of 90%, which shows that different markets can receive different builds. The return that applies to you is in the game's information panel. The RTP explained page covers why a long-run average says little about one session, and the volatility guide explains what a high rating means for a budget.
Stakes on the provider sheet run from €0.10 to €50. At a GB casino they appear in pounds and stop at £5 a spin for adults, £2 for players aged 18 to 24, under the slot stake limits.
Watching the bonus spins in a Money Train demo
A bonus built on four kinds of special symbol is easier to follow when you can watch it rather than read about it, and that is what a Money Train demo offers. Relax Gaming previews its games on its own website. Licensed GB casinos can provide demo mode as well, once an account has passed the age and identity checks that apply to free and paid play alike. Nothing on this site is playable.
Relax Gaming is among the providers of the casinos shown with this page. With five numbered sequels in circulation, check that the tile reads simply Money Train before opening it. More games are in the online slots section. 18+ only. The responsible gambling page explains limits, time-outs and where to get help.
