Released in the UK and EU on 19 June 2024, Wild Fever is a 40-line Light & Wonder game built around wilds that fill a reel. In the base game they expand to fill the whole reel, three to five BONUS symbols start 8 to 20 free spins, and a separate Premium Play mode swaps in a reel set built only for the bonus. Expanding wilds in the base game
When a wild lands in the base game, it stretches up or down to cover its entire reel. A full wild reel connects with more of the 40 lines at once, so one or two of them on screen can turn a quiet spin into a line win across several paylines. This is the feature you see most often, and it carries much of the game between bonuses.
Free spins and the gamble on entry
Three, four or five BONUS symbols award between 8 and 20 free spins. On entry to the round, a Gamble option lets you risk the spins you have won for a chance at more. It can also cost you the extra spins on offer, so it changes the spread of results rather than the long-run return.
What Premium Play changes
Premium Play is an alternative mode with a different reel set made up only of BONUS, FREE SPINS or BLANK symbols. In other words, it gives up the ordinary line wins of the base game in exchange for spins that are all about reaching the bonus. The paytable at your casino shows the cost of the mode and how often it pays; check it before switching, because a spin that can only land a feature or nothing behaves very differently from a normal one.
RTP builds and stakes in Great Britain
Light & Wonder publishes Wild Fever at 96%, 94%, 92%, 90% and 87%. The 96% build is game ID 71258, and the figure a casino uses is shown in the information panel. The game's stake range is £0.20 to £10 a spin. At GB-licensed casinos, online slots have been limited to £5 per game cycle since 9 April 2025, and to £2 for players aged 18 to 24 since 21 May 2025, so the upper half of that range is not available here.
