The welcome bingo bonus, step by step

The current welcome offer is: £20 bingo bonus after depositing and staking £10 on eligible bingo games.

Significant terms

£10 deposit within 30 days and £10 cash stake on eligible rooms; bonus paid as bingo tickets up to 10p each; 30-day bonus expiry; no wagering on winnings

The help centre describes the sequence: after registration, deposit and stake £10 on eligible bingo rooms, and you qualify for a £20 bingo bonus to use in eligible rooms. The deposit has to be made within 30 days, and the bonus expires 30 days after it is credited.

Two details shape the real value. First, the bonus is paid as bingo tickets whose value is the ticket price of the eligible game you choose, up to 10p per ticket. At 10p a ticket, £20 is 200 tickets; in a cheaper room the same bonus buys more tickets at a lower price. Second, the help centre says there are no wagering requirements on any winnings from the bingo games, so a line or full house won with bonus tickets is paid as withdrawable money.

That is a cleaner structure than many bingo offers, which attach wagering to winnings; GB rules cap such wagering at 10x on bonus funds since 19 January 2026, but zero is simpler. Compare other ticket offers on our bingo bonuses page.

Is any Sky Bingo bonus free?

People search for Sky Bingo free tickets, but the welcome bonus needs a £10 deposit and £10 stake, so this guide calls it a bingo bonus. The help centre does not describe a no-deposit bingo offer or a promo code for it. For rooms with no ticket cost on other licensed sites, our free bingo guide explains how such rooms usually work and what limits apply to winnings.

Sky Bingo online: rooms, hosts and games

The UK App Store listing puts the social side first: players can chat to each other and to chat room hosts in the bingo rooms. That host-led format is the main difference from slot-first sites. The app listing does not name the ball formats, so check each room's description for 90-ball or 75-ball play; our 90-ball bingo guide explains the traditional format.

Away from the rooms, the same listing promises hundreds of online slots and instant win scratchcards in the bingo app. Online slots follow GB rules: £5 maximum per spin, or £2 for 18-24-year-olds, at least 2.5 seconds per spin and no autoplay. The stake limit does not apply to bingo tickets.

Bingo spending works differently from slots: tickets are cheap, but a session can run through many games, and buying several tickets per game multiplies the cost. Setting a deposit limit before the first session, and checking the profit and loss view afterwards, keeps the total visible. Since 31 October 2025 GB-licensed sites ask new customers to set a financial limit before their first deposit.

Licence and the Sky family

The licensing page names Bonne Terre Gaming Limited, incorporated in Gibraltar, registration number 124753, as the company that carries out bingo, casino games and poker. The about-us page says it trades as Sky Bet Games, Sky Vegas, Sky Casino, Sky Bingo and Sky Poker under a Gambling Commission licence; the register shows that as account 65519, with skybingo.com among the domains and bingo and casino as activities.

The closest sister site is Sky Vegas, which handles the slots-led side of the brand with its own welcome spins. People also search for Sky Bet bingo; bingo for Sky customers runs on this site.

Deposits and withdrawal speed

Deposits are accepted by debit card and Apple Pay, plus Pay by Bank and Revolut Pay for UK customers paying in pounds. The help centre says there is no minimum for Pay by Bank deposits; card minimums are shown in the cashier. Credit cards cannot be used for gambling in Great Britain.

Withdrawals follow the Sky cashier rules: Visa cards and participating Mastercards are eligible for instant withdrawals, which should reach the bank within 1-4 hours; Pay by Bank is immediate; standard card withdrawals take 2-5 working days, with a £5 minimum withdrawal. As at any licensed site, ID documents may be requested before a payout.

The Sky Bingo app

The iOS app, listed as Online Bingo from Sky Bingo, was rated 4.6 from 869 ratings on the UK App Store (1 November 2026). The rating count is far smaller than Sky Vegas or the large Gamesys bingo apps, so it reflects a narrower group of users. The mobile site is the alternative on other devices.

Control tools and support

The safer gambling page lists My Profit and Loss, Deposit Controls, Cool Off Periods, Self Exclusion and Reality Check, and a self-assessment test. For bingo players who buy tickets in many small amounts, the profit and loss view gives a clearer total than the balance alone. The page also explains GAMSTOP, the free national self-exclusion scheme for GB-licensed sites.

Sky Bingo is 18+ only, with age verified before you can deposit or play. Our responsible gambling guide sets out the tools and where to get help; the National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133.

Who Sky Bingo suits

It suits bingo players who value chat rooms with hosts, want welcome winnings without wagering and prefer quick card or Pay by Bank payouts. Compared with Jackpotjoy, whose £30 bingo route is valued on £1 tickets, Sky Bingo's £20 bonus uses tickets of up to 10p, so the number of tickets can be higher even though the headline is lower.
