How to play 9 Masks of Fire
Pick a stake and spin. Regular symbols pay on 20 fixed lines from left to right, while the masks ignore the lines and pay by how many appear anywhere on the five reels. Because a three-row grid has 15 positions, landing many masks at once is rare, which is why the nine-mask award sits at the very top of the pay table. At GB-licensed casinos online slots are capped at £5 per spin, or £2 if you are aged 18 to 24.
Scatter masks that pay anywhere
The masks are the game's main idea. Small groups pay modest scatter wins and larger groups pay more, up to 6,000x for nine. Medium volatility reflects that balance: regular small wins from lines and scatters, with the large awards depending on unusual mask counts.
The free spins wheel
When the free spins are triggered, a wheel decides what you play with. According to game databases, it can award up to 30 free spins with a multiplier of up to x3, and the free spins can be retriggered. The wheel is a random draw like the reels themselves: there is no skill in when it stops.
HyperSpins and King Millions versions
The Masks of Fire series includes 9 Masks of Fire HyperSpins and 9 Masks of Fire King Millions. They are separate games with their own features and figures, so the 96.24% and 6,000x quoted here belong to the 2020 original only. Microgaming's Thunderstruck II and Immortal Romance are older 243-ways games from the same catalogue.
