Up to 200,704 ways and tumbling wins
As in other Megaways games, the height of each reel changes on every spin, so the number of ways to win changes too, up to 200,704. Winning symbols are removed and new ones tumble in, giving a spin more than one chance to pay. The Megaways slots page explains the mechanic.
Free spins: up to 22 to start, extras without a limit
The free spins round starts with up to 22 spins, and extra spins can be won without a fixed limit. Wilds in the round carry multipliers of up to 5x, and multipliers are added together across a tumble sequence rather than multiplied, so a 2x and a 3x wild give 5x. Long sequences with several wilds are where the larger wins come from.
Buffalo King Megaways RTP and GB limits
The published RTP is 96.52%. It describes the return over a very large number of spins, not what one session will pay, so check the in-game information at your casino to confirm the version it runs. Online slots at GB-licensed casinos are capped at £5 per spin, or £2 if you are 18 to 24, and high volatility means long runs without a feature are normal.
Buffalo King, Untamed and Wild Megaways
The original Buffalo King (2019) uses a fixed layout, and Buffalo King Untamed Megaways and Buffalo King Wild Megaways are later games with their own maths. The figures on this page apply to the 2021 Megaways version only.
