How Gates of Olympus pays
There are no paylines. Matching symbols anywhere on the grid pay once enough of them land, the winning symbols tumble away and new ones drop in, and the sequence continues until no new win forms. Sources disagree on the grid: databases list six by four, while the game is commonly described as six by five, so the spec card leaves rows out. The mechanics are the same either way.
Multiplier symbols and free spins
Multiplier symbols land at random and boost wins. In free spins the multiplier is cumulative: values that land add to a running total that applies to later wins in the round. This is why a free spins round in Gates of Olympus can range from a small return to the 5,000x ceiling, and why the game is rated high volatility. Multipliers of up to 500x are possible, but most are far smaller.
RTP, ante bet and UK restrictions on Gates of Olympus
The 96.50% figure is Pragmatic's listed return; casinos can run other builds, so check the game's information screen. The game includes an ante bet option, and elsewhere a bonus buy, but bonus buy is not available to UK players, so in Great Britain free spins come only from scatters.
