Cluster pays on a seven-by-seven grid
Instead of lines, Sugar Rush pays for clusters of five or more identical symbols. After each win the cluster disappears and new symbols fall in, so one spin can chain several wins. The confectionery theme is cosmetic; the cluster engine is what sets the game apart from Pragmatic's pays-anywhere titles such as Sweet Bonanza.
How the multiplier spots build
Winning clusters leave marked spots on the grid, and repeated wins on those spots turn them into multipliers that double, up to 128x. Several large multipliers under one cluster are where the big results come from, and a sequence in which spots never build returns much less. Scatters trigger free spins, where the same multiplier mechanic has more room to build; the game's help screen sets out exactly how spots carry over.
Sugar Rush RTP and the UK version
The 96.50% figure is the listed return; casinos may run a different build, so check the game's information screen. Elsewhere the game offers a bonus buy, but bonus buy is not available to UK players, so in Great Britain free spins come only from scatters. Online slot stakes at GB-licensed casinos are capped at £5 per spin, or £2 if you are 18 to 24.
Sugar Rush 1000, Super Scatter and Xmas
Sequels include Sugar Rush 1000, Super Scatter and Xmas. Sugar Rush 1000 is listed with a 25,000x top win, but that figure belongs to the sequel, not the 2022 original reviewed here. Always check which version a lobby or an offer refers to. The new slots page tracks recent releases.
Sugar Rush demo and where to find it
This site has no demo. Licensed casinos may offer a demo mode, but only after age verification, which GB rules require before any play. The free slots page explains how that works. Several licensed casinos name Pragmatic Play among their providers, and they are listed beside this review; lobbies change, so search for the title or filter by Pragmatic Play before depositing.
If you see bonus spins offered on Sugar Rush, the terms should state spin value, expiry, eligible game and any cap on winnings; since 19 January 2026 GB rules cap wagering on bonus funds at 10x. The free spins bonuses guide explains the formats. 18+ only, and the responsible gambling page explains limits, time-outs and GAMSTOP.
