Gonzo's Quest is NetEnt's Avalanche slot from 2010: instead of spinning, symbols drop into place, and every win clears them away for a new drop with a rising multiplier. Avalanche reels and the base-game multiplier
When a win lands, the winning symbols break apart and new ones fall into the gaps. Each consecutive avalanche in the same sequence raises the multiplier, up to 5x in the base game. The sequence ends when a drop produces no new win.
Free Falls: 10 spins, multipliers up to 15x
Free Falls is the bonus round: 10 free spins in which the avalanche multiplier reaches up to 15x, and the round can retrigger. Because the multiplier only grows while wins keep chaining, a Free Falls round can end quickly or run long, which is behind the medium-high rating.
Gonzo's Quest Megaways and other versions
Gonzo's Quest Megaways is a separate game made by Red Tiger, another Evolution studio, with a variable reel layout and its own RTP and maximum win.
