Le Bandit slot review: Hacksaw's cluster heist and its RTP builds
Hacksaw Gaming's 2023 heist slot pays in clusters on a 6x5 grid, with Golden Squares, three bonus rounds and RTP builds that range widely.
The Le Bandit slot is a Hacksaw Gaming release from 24 August 2023 that pays in clusters on a six by five grid, with a top win of 10,000x the stake and a top RTP of 96.34%. It is rated medium volatility, 3 out of 5. It was the first of Hacksaw's "Le" titles and should not be confused with The Bandit, a different game from another studio. Its RTP section deserves more attention than usual, because the builds sit far apart.

Cluster wins on a six by five grid
There are no paylines. A win needs five or more matching symbols connected anywhere on the grid. Golden Squares and special symbols add to the base game, and the paytable inside the game shows exactly how each of them behaves. The rules are less obvious than on a line slot, so that screen is the reference.
Three bonus rounds and how they differ
Le Bandit has three bonus rounds, and Hacksaw also sells direct entry to features under names such as Luck Of The Bandit and All That Glitters Is Gold. Each mode has its own rules and its own RTP, set out in the game's information screen. A medium rating describes the spread of results overall, not a promise of regular wins. The slot volatility guide explains how volatility and RTP fit together.
Le Bandit RTP: one game, four builds
This is the figure that matters most before a session. Hacksaw supplies Le Bandit at 96.34%, 94.23%, 92.17% and 88.36%, and the casino picks the build. On the lowest version the long-run return is almost eight percentage points below the top one, so the same game can cost a player very different amounts over time. The bonus buy options have figures of their own: BonusHunt FeatureSpins 96.28%, Rainbow FeatureSpins 96.36%, Luck Of The Bandit 96.3% and All That Glitters Is Gold 96.4%. The in-game information screen shows the Le Bandit RTP in use at a particular lobby.
Bonus buys and the £5 limit
Hacksaw's own bet range runs from £0.10 to £100, but in Great Britain online slots have been limited to £5 per game cycle for adults since 9 April 2025 and to £2 for players aged 18 to 24 since 21 May 2025. Those limits apply whatever the game menu shows. Whether the Le Bandit bonus buy and the FeatureSpins modes are offered in a GB lobby is the operator's decision, so the game's own menu is the place to check. The slot stake limits guide sets out the full rules.
Le Bandit demo and free play in the UK
All British Casinos has no playable games, so there is no Le Bandit demo on this page. Official versions come from the provider's channels or from licensed casinos with a demo mode. Since 7 May 2019 GB operators must verify age and identity before any free-to-play game opens, so Le Bandit free play at a UK casino requires a verified account.
