Le Cowboy slot: Revolver Reveal, three bonus rounds and four RTP builds

Hacksaw Gaming takes the Le Bandit family west: a 6x5 cluster slot where wilds turn into revolver cylinders and five scatters open a hidden bonus.

Hacksaw Gaming released Le Cowboy on 6 November 2025 as a western spin-off from its Le Bandit family, also known as Smokey Le Cowboy. The Le Cowboy slot uses a 6x5 grid with cluster pays and Super Cascades, sits at medium volatility and caps wins at 25,000x the stake. The best-known build returns 96.28%, but three lower builds are also in circulation, which matters more here than on most games.

Clusters, cascades and the Revolver Reveal

Wins come from clusters of matching symbols rather than from lines. Winning symbols drop away and new ones fall in, so one spin can pay several times. The signature mechanic is the Revolver Reveal: when a Wild sits inside a winning cluster, it turns into a Revolver Cylinder holding two to six shots. Each shot reveals a Coin, Diamond, Clover, Loot Bag or Reload, and those reveals decide how much the wild adds to the spin.

Three bonus rounds, chosen by the scatter count

The number of FS scatters sets the round you get:

  • 3 scatters - High Noon Saloon: 10 free spins, with a Bonus Gamble on entry.
  • 4 scatters - Trail of Trickery: 10 free spins with a Bullet Collector.
  • 5 scatters - Pistols at Dawn: a hidden epic bonus in which the Bullet Collector is progressive and fires on every spin.

The Bonus Gamble is a straight risk: it can move you up to a stronger round or end the feature, so it changes the shape of the result, not the long-run return.

Which Le Cowboy build is on screen

Besides 96.28%, builds at 94.31%, 92.30% and 86.33% are reported. The gap between the top and bottom version is almost ten points, so the same stake goes much less far on the lowest one over a long session. Licensed casinos show the RTP in the game's information or paytable screen; it is worth opening before the first spin. The RTP guide explains the maths, and slot volatility covers what medium volatility means for session length.

Stakes for GB players

The published range is £0.05 to £40 a spin. At any casino licensed by the Gambling Commission, online slot stakes are limited to £5 per game cycle for adults, and to £2 for players aged 18 to 24, so the top of the range does not apply in Great Britain.

Trying the Le Cowboy demo

Searches for the Le Cowboy demo lead back to Hacksaw Gaming's own website, where the studio lists its games and features; this page has no playable version. At a licensed casino, demo mode, where offered, opens only after age and identity verification, because GB rules make no exception for free play. Bet442 names Hacksaw Gaming among its studios; the game list on its own site shows whether Le Cowboy is included. For the original game in the series, see the Le Bandit slot page.

Gambling is for adults aged 18 and over. Deposit limits, reality checks and sources of help are set out on the responsible gambling page.
