Twin Spin slot: how NetEnt's linked reels work, RTP and stakes
NetEnt's 2013 slot with no bonus round: every spin links two neighbouring reels, and they can grow to five identical reels.
Twin Spin has no free spins, no bonus game and no pick feature. Instead, every spin starts with two neighbouring reels linked so they show identical symbols, and the link can grow to three, four or all five reels. The Twin Spin slot was released by NetEnt in December 2013, pays across 243 ways rather than fixed lines, returns 96.55% and is rated medium volatility, with a top win of 1,000x the stake.

The Twin Reels mechanic in practice
At the start of each spin, two adjacent reels are joined and spin as one. Sometimes the link spreads to a third, fourth or fifth reel during the spin. Because linked reels always show the same symbols, the more reels are joined, the more ways a single symbol can line up. With 243 ways, a win only needs matching symbols on adjacent reels from the left, in any row.
Wilds appear on reels 2 to 5 and substitute for other symbols. When a wild sits on a linked reel, it is copied across every reel in the link, which is where the larger results come from. The game's whole appeal rests on this one idea, so it suits players who prefer a steady base game to waiting for a feature.
RTP, volatility and the 1,000x figure
The spec card shows 96.55%; some databases round it to 96.6%. The provider page gives 1,000x as the top win, while one third-party source quotes 1,080x. A medium volatility rating comes from a third-party source, since NetEnt's page does not state one. Casinos can run their own builds, so the in-game help screen is the reliable place to check the return before you stake. The RTP explained guide covers how to read it.
From euro bets to the GB limit
NetEnt quotes bets in euro, from 0.25 to 125.00 per spin. Licensed casinos in Great Britain show sterling stakes and cap online slots at £5 per spin, or £2 for players aged 18 to 24, so the top of the range is not offered here. The slot stake limits guide explains the rules.
Demo play, Megaways and Deluxe
A Twin Spin demo is worth a few minutes mainly to watch how often the link spreads to all five reels; it does not change real-money odds. None is embedded on this page. NetEnt shows the game on its own site, and a licensed casino opens demo play only after verifying your age and identity.
The page describes the original 2013 game. Twin Spin Megaways and Twin Spin Deluxe use the same idea with different layouts and figures, so check the full name in the lobby. Other NetEnt games are on the NetEnt slots page.
