No wagering free spins: offers that pay winnings as cash

Wager-free spins pay what they win as cash. What still applies - deposit, spin value, game and expiry - and current offers with their terms.

No wagering free spins pay whatever the spins win as withdrawable cash, with no requirement to play the winnings through first. At casinos licensed in Great Britain they are nearly always tied to a deposit and a qualifying stake, so strictly they are wager-free bonus spins rather than free ones. The spin value, the eligible slot, the expiry and sometimes a maximum win still apply, and those are what separate one offer from another.

How wager-free spins differ from standard bonus spins

With standard bonus spins, winnings land in a bonus balance. You then have to stake a multiple of that amount, never more than 10 times under GB rules since 19 January 2026, before any of it becomes cash. With zero wager free spins that step does not exist.

Comparing two wager-free offers: a worked example

Because the winnings are cash, wager-free offers are compared on what you have to put in and what the spins are worth. Take two hypothetical offers.

CheckOffer AOffer B
Qualifying deposit and stake£10£20
Spins and value50 at 20p20 at 10p
Face value£10£2
Face value per £1 of qualifying spend£110p
Expiry48 hours7 days

Offer A carries five times the face value for half the qualifying spend, but its short expiry suits only someone who will play within two days. Face value is not a forecast of winnings: the slot's return to player means the spins are expected to return a little less than their face value on average, and any single set of spins can return nothing or much more. What the comparison does show is how much of your own money buys how much play.

Two more checks finish the picture. First, whether the qualifying stake must be placed on one specific slot, which ties your own money to that game as well. Second, whether a maximum win applies, since a cap of a few pounds can matter more than the number of spins.

Wager-free offers on current terms sheets

666 Casino's spins carry no wagering on winnings, but the qualifying wager has to be placed on the same slot the spins are for, within a set number of days: 20 spins on Big Bass Splash when you deposit and wager £20.

Significant terms

18+, new players, first deposit; £20 must be wagered on Big Bass Splash within 7 days; spins on Big Bass Splash; 0x wagering on winnings

Pub Casino calls its offer cash spins. The terms say the offer must be activated before you deposit, winnings are cash with no maximum cash-out, and Skrill deposits do not qualify: 50 cash spins on Octobeer Fortunes after depositing and wagering £10.

Significant terms

Deposit and wager £10; activate before depositing; spins £0.20 each, winnings paid as cash, no max cash out; Skrill deposits excluded; spins expire in 48 hours

Lottomart uses a prize wheel, so the number of spins varies. Its terms credit free spin winnings as cash but set short windows to use the wheel, claim the spins and play them: New customer prize wheel: win up to 500 bonus spins.

Significant terms

New players, opt-in; min £10 cash stakes on slots; wheel used and spins claimed within 4 days; spins played within 24 hours; free spin winnings paid as cash (no wagering); max 1 claim

Wager-free spins are no longer a niche of smaller brands. Among the highest-scoring operators, MrQ, Sky Vegas and Virgin Games all pay spin winnings without wagering, as do NetBet, PlayOJO, Lottoland, kwiff and LeoVegas. MONOPOLY Casino pays its spin winnings as cash too, with a qualifying wager that must be on slots: 30 bonus spins on MONOPOLY Cash Is King after a £10 deposit and £10 slots wager.

Significant terms

Min £10 deposit and £10 wager on slots; 30-day expiry from deposit; spins on MONOPOLY Cash Is King at 1p x 10 lines; free-spin winnings paid as cash; sports, bingo and live casino wagering do not count

Low wager versus zero wager after the 10x cap

Before 2026 the gap between a wagering offer and a wager-free one could be huge. With the cap at 10x it is smaller, but still real: £5 of spin winnings at 10x means £50 of further play, and on a slot returning less than you stake that play reduces the balance on average. Some offers sit in between. LuckyMate, for example, applies 1x wagering to spin winnings with a maximum cash-out: 50 bonus spins on Big Bass Splash when you bet £10 on slots.

Significant terms

£10 min deposit; £10 in slot bets; 50 spins at £0.10 (£5 total); x1 wagering, £1 max bet contribution; £100 max cashout from winnings; 7-day expiry; selected payment methods only

A 1x requirement is close to wager-free in practice; a 10x one is not. Read the number, and check whether it applies to the winnings alone or to something larger.

What "no wagering" does not remove

  • The qualifying spend. A deposit and a stake of your own money are usually needed first, which is why these offers should not be described as free.
  • Spin value and game. The operator fixes both. A slot's RTP and volatility affect what the spins are likely to return.
  • Expiry. Some wager-free spins must be used within 24 or 48 hours of being credited.
  • Payment exclusions. E-wallet deposits are often excluded from qualifying.
  • Stake limits. Online slots in Great Britain are limited to £5 a spin, or £2 if you are 18 to 24.

Free spins with no deposit and no wager

Searches for "free spins no deposit no wager" are common, but offers that combine both are rare. On this site only Sky Vegas currently credits wager-free spins on registration, with a 7-day expiry. The guide to free spins with no deposit explains how to read those. For casinos that apply no wagering across their promotions rather than to a single offer, see no wagering casinos.

Is a wager-free spins offer worth taking?

It is the most transparent kind of spins offer: what you win is yours, subject to the printed caps. It is still a promotion attached to spending. Decide what you would deposit without the offer and do not raise it to qualify. 18+ only; the responsible gambling page explains deposit limits, time-outs and GAMSTOP.

Questions readers ask

What are no wagering free spins?

Spins whose winnings are paid as withdrawable cash instead of bonus funds. There is no requirement to stake the winnings again before withdrawing them.

Do no wagering spins need a deposit?

Usually yes. At GB-licensed casinos most wager-free spins are unlocked by a deposit and a qualifying stake, so they are wager-free rather than free.

Is there a maximum win on wager-free spins?

Sometimes. Some offers state no maximum cash-out, others cap winnings. The significant terms next to each offer say which applies.

Are winnings from no wagering spins taxed?

No. Gambling winnings are not taxed in the UK, whether they come from bonus spins or your own stakes.

Is low wagering almost as good as no wagering?

A 1x requirement is close; 10x, the GB maximum since 19 January 2026, means staking ten times the winnings first, which on average reduces them.
