New Casino Sites UK 2026: licence dates checked
New UK casino sites checked against the Gambling Commission register: whose licence started recently, which domains moved, and what that means for players.

New casino sites in the UK are easiest to judge from the Gambling Commission register, which shows the date each remote casino licence became active. The ten brands below sit on remote casino licences that started between November 2021 and August 2026. A new online casino has to meet exactly the same rules as one that has traded for twenty years, so the date tells you about the company, not about safer terms or better odds.
One caution runs through this page: a recent licence date does not always mean a brand-new casino. Brands change hands, and the register often shows the same website listed earlier under a different company.

How new casino sites are dated on the register
Every licensed business has an account on the Gambling Commission (UKGC) register. Each licence on that account carries a status (Active, Surrendered, Revoked, Pending) and a start date, and the account lists the domain names notified to the Commission. Three points matter when you read those dates.
- 1 November 2014 is not a launch date. Many long-standing operators show that date because it is when the point-of-consumption regime began and existing remote operators were licensed by the Commission. It says nothing about how new the brand is.
- A new licence can carry an old brand. When a casino is sold, its domain moves to the buyer's account and the old entry is marked inactive.
- The licence belongs to the company. One account can run several brands, so a licence date applies to all of them at once.
Here is what the register showed on 1 November 2026 for the brands ranked below:
- Midnite: Midnite Limited, account 101839, remote casino licence active from 11 August 2026, the most recent start date on this page. midnite.com is still listed as active on the account of Dribble Media Limited too, so this is a new licence holder for a brand that already traded.
- Sun Bingo: Red Rock Managed Services Limited, account 67754, remote casino licence active from 2 October 2025. sunbingo.co.uk is listed on the account as a white label, and an older entry sits, inactive, under VF2011 Limited.
- Casushi: Solaya Group Limited, account 100050, remote casino licence active from 11 November 2025. casushi.com also appears, marked inactive, on the account of Dazzletag Entertainment Limited.
- 666 Casino: Jupiter Gaming Limited, account 67098, remote casino licence active from 28 August 2025. An inactive entry for 666casino.com sits under AG Communications Limited.
- AK Bets: Akbo Limited, account 66030, remote casino licence active from 27 March 2025. akbets.bet is also listed as inactive under Star Racing Limited.
- Slots Temple: Digital Division Ltd, account 58086, remote casino licence active from 30 November 2021, with one active domain.
- Sky Vegas: Bonne Terre Gaming Limited, account 65519, remote casino licence active from 18 November 2024; skyvegas.com previously sat on the account of Bonne Terre Limited.
- Casumo: Recro Limited, account 61549, active from 21 December 2023, taking over casumo.com from Casumo Services Limited.
- MrQ: Tek Fox Ltd, account 60629, active from 29 September 2023; mrq.com was earlier listed under Lindar Media Limited.
- BetGoodwin: Goodwin Racing Limited holds a long-standing account (2927), but its remote casino licence only started on 14 September 2023, so the casino side is the new part.
So most of the ten have licence holders that are new to the Commission, but their websites existed under someone else first. That is normal and not a warning sign. It simply means "brand new casino sites" is often a new owner rather than a new site.
New online casinos ranked by score
The table orders these brands by their overall score. MrQ, Sky Vegas, Midnite, 666 Casino and BetGoodwin have public offer terms that could be read; Casumo, Slots Temple and Sun Bingo have partial details, and Casushi and AK Bets are listed from their register entries only, so their current welcome offers, payment methods and app details are set out in each operator's own terms, which change often.

Sky Vegas is the one brand here with a genuine no-deposit element. Its current offer is: 50 bonus spins on registration, no deposit, then 200 bonus spins after depositing and staking £10.
No wagering on free-spin winnings; 7-day spin expiry; £10 deposit and stake within 30 days of registration; spins loaded on the first eligible game chosen; existing Sky Betting & Gaming customers excluded
Midnite, the newest licence holder on the list, currently offers: 100 bonus spins on Big Bass Splash after a £20 deposit and £20 stake (code BETGETCASINO).
Code BETGETCASINO; min deposit £20; wager £20 on eligible games within 14 days; spins 10p, expire 7 days
666 Casino's current welcome offer is: 20 spins on Big Bass Splash when you deposit and wager £20.
18+, new players, first deposit; £20 must be wagered on Big Bass Splash within 7 days; spins on Big Bass Splash; 0x wagering on winnings
The terms set no wagering on winnings from those spins, but the spins only arrive after you deposit and stake £20 on one named slot within 7 days, so this is not a free offer. The full breakdowns are in the 666 Casino review, the Sky Vegas review and the Midnite review, and every other operator on the site has its own page in the casino reviews section.
What a recent licence changes for players, and what it does not
Being new gives a casino no exemption from any rule. Every GB-licensed site, whatever its age, must:
- verify your age and identity before you deposit or play, including demo games (since 7 May 2019);
- take part in GAMSTOP, the national self-exclusion scheme (since 31 March 2020);
- prompt you to set a financial limit before your first deposit and make limit-setting the default (since 31 October 2025), and offer gross deposit limits (since 30 September 2026);
- keep online slot stakes to £5 a spin, or £2 if you are 18 to 24;
- cap wagering on bonus funds at 10x and keep each incentive to a single product type (since 19 January 2026).
What a new operator does change is the track record you can look at. An older company has years of terms, help pages and register history. A new holder has less, which is why reading the withdrawal rules and the significant terms of its offer matters more, not less.
New casino bonuses and no deposit offers
Searches for a new casino no deposit bonus or new casino free spins with no deposit are common, but genuine no-deposit offers are rare at GB-licensed casinos. On this page only Sky Vegas has one: bonus spins on registration, with a larger batch after a £10 deposit and stake, as set out in its terms above. Since January 2026 every bonus, new site or not, works within the same frame: wagering of no more than 10x on bonus funds, no combined casino and sports packages, and terms that must be clear and easy to find.
Words matter too. Under advertising rules an offer that needs a deposit or a stake of your own money should not be called free, so "deposit £20, get 20 spins" is a bonus, not free spins. If you want to compare offer types properly, the casino bonuses guide explains deposit matches, bonus spins and cashback, and no deposit bonuses covers what the rare genuine ones usually cap.
New slot sites and new games are different things
A new slot site is a new casino brand; a new slot is a game release that appears across many established casinos at once, because most lobbies draw on the same licensed studios. If what you really want is recent games rather than a recent operator, an established casino will usually carry them too. The new slots page follows releases rather than brands.
Checking a brand-new casino yourself
- Find the licence notice in the site footer and note the company name and account number.
- Search that account on the Gambling Commission public register and confirm the remote casino licence shows as Active.
- Check the site's exact domain is listed on that account as active.
- Read the withdrawal section of the terms: pending times, verification requests and any minimum withdrawal.
- Read the significant terms of the welcome offer: minimum deposit, wagering, expiry, eligible games, excluded payment methods and win caps.
- Set a deposit limit when the site prompts you, before the first payment.
Gambling is for adults: you must be 18 or over to play at any of these sites. If you want to keep spending in check, the responsible gambling page explains limits, time-outs and GAMSTOP.
Questions readers ask
What counts as a new casino site in the UK?
There is no official definition. The most reliable marker is the start date of the remote casino licence on the Gambling Commission register, read together with the domain history, because a recent licence can belong to a new owner of an older brand.
Are new casinos less safe than established ones?
Not by rule. A new licence holder must meet the same requirements on age checks, GAMSTOP, deposit limits, stake limits and bonus wagering as any other GB licensee. What a new company lacks is history, so its terms deserve a careful read.
Why does a well-known casino show a licence date of 1 November 2014?
That is when the point-of-consumption rules took effect and existing remote operators were licensed by the Gambling Commission. The date reflects the change in law, not when the casino opened.
Do new casino sites give free spins with no deposit?
Occasionally. Of the brands on this page, only Sky Vegas currently gives spins on registration before any deposit. Such offers are usually small and capped, and any wagering on bonus funds is limited to 10x.
How can I tell if a casino brand changed owner?
Search the domain on the Gambling Commission register. If it appears as inactive on one account and active on another, the brand has moved to a new licence holder.
