Monopoly Live: how the game show works
How Monopoly Live works: the money wheel and its odds, Chance segments, the 3D board bonus, volatility and where related Monopoly games appear in GB lobbies.

Monopoly Live is a live casino game show from Evolution in which a presenter spins a 54-segment money wheel. You bet on the numbers 1, 2, 5 or 10, which pay fixed odds, or on the "2 Rolls" and "4 Rolls" segments, which start a 3D bonus round where Mr Monopoly walks round the board collecting multipliers. Chance segments add cash prizes or multipliers. To play the Monopoly Live game for money in Great Britain you need an account at a casino licensed by the Gambling Commission.
The live game shows guide covers Crazy Time and the wider genre. This page goes into Monopoly Live in detail: the wheel, the bonus round, the odds and the related Monopoly titles in GB lobbies.

The Monopoly Live wheel
| Segment | Number on the wheel | Chance per spin | What happens |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 22 | 40.7% | Pays 1 to 1 |
| 2 | 15 | 27.8% | Pays 2 to 1 |
| 5 | 7 | 13.0% | Pays 5 to 1 |
| 10 | 4 | 7.4% | Pays 10 to 1 |
| Chance | 2 | 3.7% | A card awards a cash prize or a multiplier |
| 2 Rolls | 3 | 5.6% | Bonus round with two dice rolls |
| 4 Rolls | 1 | 1.9% | Bonus round with four dice rolls |
The segment counts tell you how often each result lands, on average. A bet on 1 wins about four spins in ten; the 4 Rolls bonus comes up about once every 54 spins. There is no betting spot for Chance itself.
Chance segments
When the wheel stops on Chance, Mr Monopoly draws a card. Under the standard rules it is one of two kinds: a cash prize, paid as a multiple of your stake, or a multiplier, after which the wheel spins again and the multiplier is applied to winning number bets on the new result. Multipliers can stack if Chance lands again. The game's help screen sets out exactly which bets qualify, so read it before relying on Chance for anything.
The 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls bonus round
Only players who bet on the segment that triggers the bonus take part. The screen switches to a 3D Monopoly board: two dice are rolled, and Mr Monopoly moves that many squares, collecting the multiplier shown on each property he lands on. Chance and Community Chest squares award extra prizes or moves, rolling doubles gives an extra roll, and other squares such as Go to Jail change the route. The bonus ends when the rolls are used up, and your prize is your stake on that segment multiplied by the total collected.
4 Rolls naturally collects more on average than 2 Rolls, which is why it pays more when it lands and lands less often. Headlines about a Monopoly Live big win almost always come from long bonus rounds, which are rare by design.
Odds, returns and volatility
Evolution publishes a theoretical return for each bet in the help screen, and the figures differ between the number bets and the bonus bets. Because the house edge varies by spot, the choice of bet matters more than in a single-rate game such as European roulette.
The bets also behave very differently. Staking only on 1 gives frequent small wins and slow losses. Staking on 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls gives long runs of losing spins broken by occasional larger prizes. Spreading bets across every segment does not remove the edge; it only mixes those two patterns. Results trackers show past spins, but each spin is independent, so a bonus is never "due".
Other Monopoly games in GB live lobbies
The Monopoly name now covers several Evolution games, and lobby lists sometimes blur them together:
- Monopoly Big Baller - a bingo-style ball draw with a Monopoly bonus, listed by Virgin Bet.
- Monopoly Roll'em - another Monopoly-themed live game with its own rules, listed by Hollywoodbets and Virgin Bet.
- MONOPOLY Roulette Live - a roulette table with Monopoly bonus features, listed by LuckyMate and Hollywoodbets. For classic tables, see live roulette.
- Monopoly slots - branded reel games from slot studios. These are slots, so the £5 and £2 stake limits apply to them, unlike live shows.
Monopoly Live itself is not named in the lobby lists of the operators reviewed here, so check the live casino section of any site before you deposit with it in mind. Hollywoodbets, LuckyMate and Virgin Bet run large Evolution game-show sections.
Playing Monopoly Live in Great Britain
- Licensing. Play only at a casino on the Gambling Commission register; the studio supplying the game needs its own GC licence.
- Stakes. Game-show stake ranges are set per table and shown in the lobby; the slot stake caps do not apply.
- Design rules. Autoplay is banned and wins at or below your stake cannot be celebrated as wins.
- Mobile. The show runs in the mobile browser or in a casino's app; a stable connection matters during betting.
- Bonuses. Live game shows often count little or nothing towards wagering, which is capped at 10x from 19 January 2026.
18+ only. Game shows run round after round without a natural break; set a time limit as well as a budget. Our responsible gambling page explains the tools and free support available, and the live dealer casinos page compares live lobbies.

Questions readers ask
How many segments are on the Monopoly Live wheel?
54: 22 for 1, 15 for 2, 7 for 5, 4 for 10, 2 Chance, 3 for 2 Rolls and 1 for 4 Rolls.
What do 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls do?
They start the 3D board bonus for players who bet on that segment. Mr Monopoly moves round the board with each dice roll, collecting multipliers that are applied to your stake.
What happens when Chance lands?
A card gives either a cash prize as a multiple of your stake or a multiplier for the next spin. The help screen explains which bets qualify.
Is Monopoly Live a slot?
No. It is a live game show with a real wheel and presenter, so the online slot stake limits do not apply. Monopoly-branded slots are separate reel games.
Can I predict when the Monopoly Live bonus will land?
No. Each spin is independent. The 4 Rolls segment lands about once in 54 spins on average, but it can come twice in a row or not for hundreds of spins.
