Evolution live casino: tables, game shows and GB casinos
Evolution's GB licence and 2026 settlement, its live blackjack, roulette and game shows, and the UK casinos that list its tables.

An Evolution casino, in the sense most players mean, is any licensed casino whose live dealer section runs on Evolution's studios: the blackjack, roulette and baccarat tables streamed with real dealers, and game shows such as Crazy Time and Lightning Roulette. Evolution was founded in 2006, is based in Stockholm and holds a British licence through Evolution Malta Holding Limited, Gambling Commission account 41655. Below: its register entry, its 2026 settlement with the Commission, the games it is known for and the GB casinos that list it.

Evolution's licence and its 2026 settlement
The Gambling Commission (UKGC) register lists Evolution Malta Holding Limited under account 41655 with remote Gambling Software and Game Host (Casino) activities. In the register extract checked for this page, the current licence number is 041655-R-322523-013, with a start date of 1 October 2026. The notified domain is evolutiongaming.com. Evolution's own licences page names the same account.
On 15 July 2026 Evolution agreed a £4.75 million settlement with the Gambling Commission. It ended a licence review opened in December 2024, which concerned Evolution content being available to British consumers through six unlicensed websites run by two operators. The settlement relates to where the content appeared, not to the games at licensed casinos, but it is part of the public record and worth knowing if you are judging the supplier behind a live casino.
Evolution AB is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. Its group brands include NetEnt, Red Tiger, Ezugi, Big Time Gaming and Nolimit City; Nolimit City surrendered its GB licence on 25 October 2026.
Live dealer tables from Evolution's studios
Evolution's core product is live dealer casino streamed from its own studios: blackjack, roulette and baccarat dealt by a real person, with bets placed through an on-screen interface. The casino you play at runs your account and the cashier; Evolution runs the table, the dealer and the stream. That is why the same table can appear, branded slightly differently, at several casinos.
- Evolution blackjack. Live tables run by a real dealer. The number of seats, the betting limits and the house rules differ from table to table and are shown in each table's help screen. Our live blackjack guide explains what to look for.
- Evolution roulette. Live wheels spun by a dealer, including Lightning Roulette, one of the studio's best-known titles. See our page on live roulette for how the bets and odds work.
- Baccarat. Live Punto Banco tables, listed by Evolution with blackjack and roulette as the core of its live dealer offer.
The game show format Evolution created
Evolution's timeline records that Dream Catcher launched in 2017 and created the live game shows category. The company describes the format as combining casino gameplay with the energy of television game shows, and the range now includes Crazy Time, Mega Ball, MONOPOLY Live and Deal or No Deal alongside Dream Catcher and Lightning Roulette.
Game shows look different from a card table, but the same questions apply. What does each bet pay, how often does each segment or outcome come up, and what return does the game's help screen state? Those numbers differ from bet to bet within the same show, so read the paytable before you choose where to stake. Our live game shows page and the MONOPOLY Live guide go through the details game by game.
Some of these titles are licensed adaptations of well-known board games and television formats. That makes them recognisable, but it does not change the maths: every round is a gamble with a built-in house edge, however familiar the branding.

Rules that apply to live casino in Great Britain
The £5 and £2 stake limits apply only to online slots, so live tables keep their own minimum and maximum bets, shown on each table. Other rules do apply. Since 17 January 2025 every online casino game in Great Britain must take at least 5 seconds per game cycle, autoplay is banned, and the game must show your net spend and time played in real time. Operator-led simultaneous play on several products is also banned.
Whether live games count towards a bonus at all, and at what rate, is set out in the casino's significant terms; wagering on bonus funds is capped at 10x under GB rules from 19 January 2026.
Learning a live game before you bet
Live tables are dealt in real time, so there is no demo in the usual sense, and GB-licensed casinos verify your age before you can open any game, free or paid. Each table's help screen explains the rules, the payouts and the betting limits; reading it before your first bet is the simplest way to learn the pace of a game show without spending anything.
18+ only. Live games run continuously, which makes it easy to lose track of time; set a deposit limit and use reality checks. Our responsible gambling page explains the tools.
