Gates of Olympus Super Scatter slot review: scatters that pay
The 2025 Super Scatter edition adds special scatters that pay out on the trigger and lifts the top win of the Zeus slot to 50,000x the stake.
Super scatters are the reason this version exists. In Gates of Olympus Super Scatter, released by Pragmatic Play on 28 April 2025, special scatter symbols join the regular ones to trigger free spins and pay an instant amount at the same time, and the top win rises to 50,000x the stake. The best RTP build is 96.50% and the game is rated high volatility. Anyone who knows the 2021 game will find the Gates of Olympus Super Scatter slot familiar until free spins begin.

Same Zeus grid, new scatter rules
The board is the familiar six reels by five rows with scatter pays: matching symbols anywhere on the grid win once enough of them land, then disappear so new symbols can fall in. That tumble continues until no new win forms. Readers who know the 2021 game will recognise the layout from the original Gates of Olympus review; what differs is how free spins start and what the trigger pays.
How the super scatter trigger pays
Four, five or six regular scatters award 15 free spins together with an instant payment of 3x, 5x or 100x the stake respectively. Super scatter symbols combine with the regular ones to trigger free spins and pay an instant amount as they do. The exact payment for each combination of regular and super scatters is set out in the game's paytable, and that screen is worth reading before a session, because the amount depends on which symbols formed the trigger.
Multipliers from x2 to x500
Multiplier symbols worth between x2 and x500 can land on any spin and boost the tumble sequence they appear in. With a high volatility rating on top, this means long runs of small results are normal, punctuated by rare large ones. The slot volatility guide explains what that pattern means for a budget.
Three return figures, an ante bet and a 100x buy
Three builds exist: 96.50%, 95.50% and 94.50%. The casino chooses which to run, so the Gates of Olympus Super Scatter RTP should be read on the game's own information screen. The ante bet adds 50% to the stake to double the chance of triggering free spins, and the provider lists a bonus buy at 100x the stake. Whether a GB casino displays the buy option is a decision for that operator.
Stake caps on slots in Great Britain
The minimum bet is £0.20, and published figures for the maximum disagree, so the spec card omits it. GB players work to a lower ceiling than any menu shows: £5 per game cycle for adults since 9 April 2025, and £2 for 18 to 24-year-olds since 21 May 2025. An ante bet raises the cost of each spin, so it counts towards that cap. The guide to slot stake limits covers the rules.
Trying the game without staking
No version of the game runs on this site. A Gates of Olympus Super Scatter demo is offered through the provider's channels and by licensed casinos with a demo mode, and since 7 May 2019 GB rules have required age and identity verification first, even when no money is staked.
Licensed casinos that list Pragmatic Play among their providers appear next to this review. Bonus spins formats are compared on the free spins bonuses page; under the rules in force since 19 January 2026 their wagering cannot exceed 10x the bonus amount. This is a game for adults aged 18 and over, and the responsible gambling page covers limits and support.
